Specializes in estimating Uponor System material costs and labor data for commercial plumbing and hydronic piping projects. Prepares estimates for Uponor product by performing take-offs of pipe, valves and fittings.  Analyzes architectural and mechanical drawings, specifications and related data to determine estimate scope. Understanding and applying local codes, Industry standards, and Uponor’s guide/product lines to apply engineered calculations and pipe sizing while using architectural standards to layout piping in Trimble Autobid Mechanical.  Uses various software and Uponor manuals to develop estimates. Makes necessary material adjustments as requested by customer, pending approval of supervisor.  Documents all communication and project information while following Uponor standards for project organization.

Reviews take-off and material estimates from peers for accuracy and provides training when appropriate.

Provides tier 2 (intermediate) telephone support to Sales, Reps, distributors and customers relating to Uponor estimates including application layout, pipe sizing and material selection.

Attends training sessions, department meetings and Product updates to further knowledge on Uponor system(s) and product applications.

Performs other duties assigned by Supervisor
