WSSC Water, one of the nation’s largest water and resource recovery utilities in the nation, seeks Water Treatment Plant Superintendents to lead our water filtration plants (WFP). The Potomac WFP, which treats water from the Potomac River in Potomac, Maryland, produces approximately 70% of our drinking water. The Patuxent WFP treats water from the Patuxent River in Laurel, Maryland and produces nearly 30% of our drinking water. The Water Treatment Plant Superintendents are responsible for planning, directing and managing the overall operation of a plant and remote facilities and ensuring compliance with all government regulations.
