The ideal candidate for this position will have civil engineering management experience with a public agency or related private organization with project management, design, construction, and contracting for large public works infrastructure projects; the ideal candidate will also possess curent a State of California registration as a Professional Civil Engineer and certifications as QSD and QSP.

The minimum qualifications consist of a bachelor's degree and five years of experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of this classification, which must include at least two years of management or supervision.
Note: A master's degree or higher may substitute for a total of one year of experience and cannot be applied to the supervisory requirement. Qualifying experience will include Project Manager that involves leading projects.
