Currently we are seeking a Project Managerin Water/Wastewater Engineering. The ideal candidate will be a Civil or Environmental Engineer with a PE and 10 years of experience as a Water/Wastewater Engineer in consulting.

This position may be located in our Dublin, OH or Newark, OH office.
In this role you will manage teams on a number of water/wastewater engineering projects. The role involves client development, proposal writing, project interviews, budget management, quality control and timely project delivery. This person is responsible for organizing and coordinating all phases of projects and typically maintains a technical role on the project team.
In addition to the above, the position is responsible for the following:
Lead safety culture within the project team or unit, including following safety protocols for all projects and visiting project sites and promptly report incidents or injuries following established protocols;
Provide leadership and direction to staff for complete execution of water and wastewater projects;
Lead or assist in the development of strategy, scope of work, and budget for projects;
Oversee plan and specification development;
Develop and maintain client relationships as primary or secondary client contact for projects;
Actively manage WIP and AR to meet company metrics;
Maintain overall project quality consistent with company and professional standards; and
Interact with regulatory agencies knowing what information to provide, when and with appropriate internal or client review.
Proven technical experience in a variety of water and wastewater projects including treatment;
Application of federal and state regulations and knowledge of funding sources;
Plan and execute own work tasks, as well as tasks of team members, to meet project deadlines;
Solve problems creatively and effectively and make informed decisions;
Mentor staff in required technical skills;
Communicate effectively and proactively with management, peers and clients in all forms of communication;
AutoCAD experience and Construction Management experience are both a plus.
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited institution.
Professional Engineer license
Generally more than 10 years relevant experience. Advanced degree and/or cooperative education may count toward experience.
Primarily in a climate-controlled office environment but occasionally required to be on job sites exposed to a variety of temperatures and possibly uneven terrain. When visiting job sites, driving is often required.
Physical requirements primarily include sitting, walking with occasional lifting, pushing and pulling.
