The District is currently seeking applications for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Engineering Department. While reporting to the Principal Engineer, this position works closely with all Engineering Staff in the planning, permitting and design of District facilities. This position also supports construction management duties for the District’s Capital Improvement Projects, including on-site construction inspection services.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills who can interact professionally with both District staff and consultants; a multi-tasker adept at managing multiple projects and deadlines concurrently and a problem solver who confronts issues and makes strategic decisions. A Bachelor’s of Science degree in Civil Engineering or another closely related field is required. Prior experience in the water or wastewater field is desired.
