The Central Oklahoma Master Conservancy District is searching for a qualified person to fill the position of District Manager. This is a challenging, high-profile position that requires proven leadership ability, excellent technical, administrative and public relations skills, and knowledge of water resource management including familiarity with local, state and federal water, wastewater and storm water regulations.
The successful candidate must possess excellent interpersonal skills with a strong ability to forge relationships with local, state and federal authorities. This candidate should demonstrate the capacity and interest to be an effective mentor and leader for the staff. Prior supervisory experience in a large, robust city/state organization is desirable. This candidate should have financial experience including fiscal planning and budget management; experience with capital improvement projects is desirable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are imperative for this position.
