Yale University has multiple research positions open for PET/CT and SPECT/CT imaging research projects. Such positions include post-doctoral fellows, PhD/MS graduate students, and internships. Self-funded visiting scholars and exchange students are welcome to apply.
The candidates will be exposed to a unique training and research environment supported by multiple NIH and Industrial grants and strong Academic-Industrial Partnerships. Research projects will focus on developing dose-reduction techniques and motion correction methods for PET/CT, and advanced imaging methods for cardiac SPECT applications, as well as Deep Learning based approaches for pre-processing and post-processing.
Applicants should have a background in electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, medical physics, computer science, or a related field. Strong analytical, programming, and experimental skills are essential. Experience in deep learning, image reconstruction, algorithm development, or image analysis is highly desirable.
Interested individuals should send a C.V., letter of interest, and contacts of three references by email to Dr. Chi Liu (firstname.lastname@example.org), Associate Professor of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging.
