This position performs highly responsible professional, managerial and technical work planning and coordinating major construction programs and activities for the Public Works Department within the County. An employee assigned to this classification is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating activities to ensure projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Duties include participation at various levels in design, estimation, and supervision of County construction projects.

Qualified candidates must possess:
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field
Five (5) years of experience in engineering to include lead or supervisory experience.
Registered Professional Engineer in Civil Engineering from any state with the ability to obtain registration in Florida within six (6) months of date of employment.
