Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has an excellent opportunity for a full-time project assistant to work with our growing team and to help keep our projects running smoothly. Responsibilities include preparing pre-contract items such as start-up forms, risk management items (insurance, W-9 forms, etc.) and project set-up; providing project managers status updates on scope, contracts, milestones, budgets and deliverable deadlines; and compiling financial documents such as contracts, pre-bills and closeouts. Occasional overtime, travel, and overnight stays may be required.
The successful candidate will have an associate degree or higher in an administrative assistant program (or related field) and at least five years of relevant administrative experience; OR if no degree, at least seven years of relevant administrative experience.
The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following: proofing/editing project contracts; database software such as Microsoft Access; Newforma or Microsoft Project (or similar) project management software; Deltek Vision or other financial and project software; Adobe InDesign or similar graphic design software; specifications production software such as MasterSpec. The ideal candidate will also have at least two years as a Project Assistant at an architecture, engineering or construction firm.
