These external sales positions in our Aftermarket team are responsible for marketing EDI equipment and services to existing facilities or customers. Typical sales channel is direct with customers without engineering and typical plans and specifications utilized to sell or market capital hardware. Position will interface with and detail initiatives and responsibilities for all related EDI departments including marketing, sales, sales channels, manufacturer’s representatives, inside sales, Diffuser Express (DX) and Aeration Works (AW) operations support; data management (CRM), etc. The conscious objective for this position is to envision and execute the development of long-term relationships with facilities and end-users. Position will be assigned to a particular region of North America. Position may allow employee to work remotely from a home office with proper coordination.
Responsibilities include the following:
Field inquiries from EDI Representatives, Internet Leads, OEM’s and Distributors regarding product information and pricing.
Generate or manage leads generated through direct customer Sales programs or other outside sales channels.
Execute EDI Aftermarket Sales program: For Diffuser or Membrane Replacement Programs, and Marketing programs. Promote EDI to any and all potential customer bases.
Assist in developing a network of installing contractors and assist with the development of an Aeration Works and Aftermarket network.
Support cross-training other personnel (sales team, field service team, reps, etc.) in Aftermarket functions, for back-up capabilities and increased capacity.
Develop, organize, and share information regarding wastewater treatment facilities. Assist in the development of participants in the EDI Network.
Requires frequent travel for presentations and demonstrations to secure orders or promote Aftermarket or Service programs.
Develop and share relevant market data and presentations on key regional sales and business trends as they occur.
Perform other duties as determined by the Aftermarket Sales Manager.
Follow all company policies, assuring for safety.
HS Diploma or GED required. Bachelors Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field preferred.
Minimum five years of Sales experience, preferably in a wastewater-related field. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Experience with a CRM system a plus.
Additional Salary Information: Commensurate with experience. Base plus attractive incentive package.
