Job Description
GaiaTech has an opening for a Business Development Manager/Senior Program Manager specializing in the sale, design and implementation of water and wastewater projects. GaiaTech has a unique reputation in servicing private industry clients in a multitude of engineering and consulting disciplines and is expanding its capabilities to better service these clientele.

The position requires a degree in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering, preferably with a Masters Degree in wastewater treatment, and a minimum of 10 years of experience. The candidate should have high-end consulting experience in more than one area of engineering, and possess client and project management capabilities. Experience managing and mentoring staff is desirable. Professional registrations and knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.

The ideal candidate would be located near, or willing to relocate to GaiaTech's Chicago, Atlanta or Dallas offices.


Requirements
Primary responsibilities for this position would be to:

- Develop and implement business strategies aimed to grow GaiaTech's Water and Wastewater Services

- Conduct sales efforts in the water/waste water discipline and/or consulting practice, to build backlog, revenue, profit, direct labor and Return on Investment.

- Prepare for qualification statements, proposals and presentations. Act as the project or program manager and main client contact for any work attained, including: - Wastewater/Drinking water treatment facility evaluation and design

- Client Communications

- Wastewater system modeling

- Watershed management

- Hydrologic and hydraulic modeling

- Operations and maintenance plans

- Construction management and inspection
