Job Description
This position is primarily responsible for managing information systems for computer automated design and drafting (CADD), surveying and mapping, and development services, which includes site plan review, permitting, inspection, licensing, and code enforcement. Responsibilities include: supervises tasks, activities, and processes related to architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) design and aids in the supervision of technical employees and technology project teams; Installs and configures software; develops and maintains standards for digital AEC data submittal, and manages internal implementation to ensure compliance with CADD standards on all AEC projects; provides production support for CADD and mapping when necessary; advises department management on overall operation of computer systems such as improvements and/or projected needs including machine modifications and equipment purchases; responsible for the planning, deployment, management, and support of departmental information systems and related technology assets including building permitting, computer-aided design and mapping, development services, utility network analysis and modeling, and other related applications; evaluates and researches technologies and products for future software adoption/ and develops written technology briefs or presentations to management staff; and develops budgets for future technology needs including products, training, and consulting services. Performs related work as required.

Requirements
Requires Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Systems Technology and five years of CADD and engineering computer systems management, or equivalent combination of training and experience. Experience with Bentley Microstation, Geopack, and Power Civil preferred, Salary range: $45,323.20 - $67,995.20.
