Job Description
A self-starter who is responsible for delivering revenue growth, both from existing customers and through new business relationships. Outlining, presenting and selling the value of our products and services. Leads a team of sales professionals focused on Products and Services for a large installed base of capital equipment. Performs other related duties as required.

Job Duties/ Responsibilities

• Develops the strategy and leads the sales team’s effort to grow the business.

• Understands and assesses competitors’ products and services.

• Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of process problems.

• Provide solutions that improve productivity, improve quality, decrease costs, decrease plant down time, improve profits, etc. as it relates to water treatment issues.

• Assumes responsibility for successful closure of projects opened by sales team.

• Build relationships at all levels of the customer's organization (operators, engineers, maintenance, management, etc.)

• Take accountability to achieve budgeted sales and gross margin by line and product group.

• Create and manage dashboard for critical success factors for service offering.

• Acts as a liaison between customer and Company providing feedback to Business Units.

• Provides trip reports in a timely manner and maintains records as required.


Requirements
Work Experience Requirements

• Reputable work experience of 5+ years in water or waste water treatment industry and be willing to get his/her “hands dirty” at the customer’s location.

• Technical Sales experience in water or waste water treatment is a MUST.

• Travel 80 – 90 %; including international travel, within North America.

• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

• Willingness to submit to background investigation and drug screening.

• Willingness to work in a range of environments including industrial, commercial and institutional facilities.

• Excellent written and verbal skills

• Planning/organizing—the individual prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task with a sense of urgency and process improvement experience

• Analytical—the individual synthesizes complex or diverse information

• Oral communication—the individual speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, demonstrates group presentation skills and conducts meetings

• Delegation—the individual delegates work assignments, gives authority to work independently, sets expectations and monitors delegated activities

• Management skills—the individual includes team in planning, decision-making, facilitating and process improvement; makes self available to team; provides regular performance feedback; and develops subordinates’ skills and encourages growth.

Education Requirements

• BS/MS in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil or Structural Engineering.
