Job Description
Brown and Caldwell, a nationally recognized environmental and engineering consulting firm, is seeking a manager to lead Brown and Caldwell’s Denver, CO office.

In this role, you will be responsible for the expansion and profitable operation of the office through market and client development, skillful financial and operational management, and the supervision and development of a talented team of environmental engineering and consulting professionals. This person will play a key role in formulating and executing the strategic direction of the office, in partnership with regional and corporate management.

Our Denver office is a multi-practice office with a diverse group of municipal and private clients in water/wastewater, water resources, and environmental services. The Denver Office Manager will be a recognized environmental industry leader in the Rocky Mountain region and will have flourishing relationships with municipal and environmental industry decision makers. The ability to lead other experienced managers and to empower and facilitate their oversight of their respective areas is a vital component of success in this role. Effective decision making and problem solving strategies and skills are essential. Outstanding technical and project management capabilities are at the core of Brown and Caldwell’s success, and this person will have demonstrated project success and the ability to lead others towards a goal of client satisfaction and project profitability.

Candidates must be able to build and sustain a collaborative environment that truly values client service, technology, innovation, professionalism, and teamwork. The successful candidate will be an energetic, compelling communicator with exceptional diplomatic and persuasive skills, capable of listening and interacting effectively with staff and clients at all organizational levels.

Requirements
Qualifications: • At least 20 years industry experience, with progressively increasing responsibilities. • Business development and staff management experience. • BS Degree in Engineering, Geology, the sciences, or related.
